About JetScream Technology

MORE POWER, MORE TORQUE, BETTER FUEL MILEAGE.
GUARANTEED.

The problem.
Properly controlled airflow is critical for efficient operation and maximum performance of your motorcycle engine. One of the most detrimental conditions for airflow into your engine is turbulence. Turbulence is inherent in all engine and air cleaner combinations, and most air cleaner/air filter manufacturers work hard to eliminate turbulence. Turbulence creates inefficient airflow and engine operation, as well as poor air/fuel optimization. JetScream's patented technology virtually eliminates power-robbing turbulence and allows your engine to work much more efficiently.

The solution.
JetScream products use an aluminum honeycomb mesh to control the airflow into the engine. This honeycomb "laminizes" the airflow by breaking up the air into channels and straightening the flow of air. By stacking the air into managed layers, the engine can much more efficiently process the air/fuel mixture. (See Figure 1) This process results in smoother, more efficient airflow into the engine and allows the engine to much better use the air and fuel it has available to it. The result is more horsepower, more torque and better fuel mileage.

Proven airflow concept.

It is natural to be skeptical when someone is asking you to spend money on something you may not have heard of before. We understand this completely. We have been riding motorcycles ourselves for the past 15 years and were consumers long before we were a manufacturer of aftermarket performance components. If you look at most major air cleaner/air filter manufacturers, they almost all work to design their products in a way to minimize the turbulence in the airflow. Companies such as Kuryakyn, S&S and K&N have designed their products to minimize turbulence and actively promote that feature in their marketing. This concept can also be proven by the many performance companies and all race teams that port and polish heads. One of the reasons for doing this is to remove imperfections in the cylinder heads that can cause disruptions in the air/fuel flow. Our products work on the same principal, however it costs the consumer a fraction of what professional engine work will, and can be performed by anyone with basic tools and a place to work. We encourage you to do your own research on turbulence and how it affects airflow.

Smooth vs. Spin
There are products in the marketplace that claim to add power and fuel mileage by "twisting" the airflow and seemingly adding turbulence to the airflow. First, these products almost always are added after the carburetor or throttle body, trying to optimize the air and fuel after it has been combined. JetScream manages airflow before it is merged with fuel, creating an optimum environment for fuel mixture and atomization. We challenge you to find a proven performance specialist who will tell you that adding disruption and turbulence to the airflow of an engine is good for engine operation and efficiency.

There are two different models of JetScream products. Both come complete with all necessary mounting hardware and installation instructions. The two JetScream models available are:

JetScream Plus
This product is designed to be used with your existing high performance air kit. JetScream Plus is available for use with many different air cleaner combinations. Simply bolt the JetScream Plus into your existing back plate and experience more power, more torque and better fuel mileage out of the box.

JetScream Complete
Incorporating our patented JetScream technology directly into the backing plate, this kit is designed to replace your existing air cleaner kit. CNC machined from billet aluminum and hand polished to a mirror finish, this air cleaner kit delivers incredible power and torque gains across the power band. The JetScream Complete comes with a K&N® high flow air filter and our exclusive "hidden" breather vents for maximum performance gains.

F.A.Q.

Does JetScream work on both carbureted and EFI engines?
Yes, JetScream works well with either type of fuel system. Our patented technology has been tested on a wide variety of both carbureted and EFI engines and the results are impressive with either platform.

Do I need to re-jet my carburetor or change my EFI fuel map?
As with any airflow product, we always recommend having the air/fuel ratio adjusted for optimum performance. However, if you are purchasing the JetScream Plus and have already had your air/fuel ratio optimized for a high performance airflow kit, you do not need to change your jets or re-map your ECM. If you are purchasing a JetScream Complete kit and are replacing a stock air cleaner kit, you WILL need to re-jet your carburetor or change your EFI fuel map to accommodate the larger volumes of air entering the engine. Failure to do so may result in engine damage.

Can I install it myself?
Yes, JetScream products truly are "bolt on" performance products. Click here for downloadable versions of our instruction sheets to see for yourself how easy installations truly are.

How much does it cost?
JetScream products start at just $69. Click here to choose the JetScream product for your application and get exact pricing for your needs.

How do I know it will work?
We understand being skeptical about any performance add on for your motorcycle. We are so confident that our product will enhance the performance of your bike that we offer a money back guarantee. If you can prove to us, through dynomometer testing, that JetScream does not add any measurable horsepower or torque, we will give you a full refund of your purchase price (minus shipping). With prices starting at $69 and a money back guarantee, you truly have a low risk way to experience the benefits of JetScream technology!

How much power can I expect to gain?
It is impossible with ANY performance product to tell you EXACTLY how much power you will gain. Seemingly small factors such as heat and humidity can affect the way an engine performs. Add to that the variables that come with your supporting components (such as exhaust pipes, carburetor/throttle body manufacturer, etc..) and it is easy to see how results can vary. We have been testing JetScream products in R&D for the past 18 months and have performed dozens and dozens of tests on a wide variety of engines and motorcycles - from 1200CC Sportster engines to 180 hp race engines - and we have always seen gains across the power band. With JetScream Plus products you can experience up to a 10% increase in power over your existing high flow air cleaner kit. If you are moving from stock to a high performance air cleaner with JetScream Complete, you can expect to see up to a 25% increase in power over stock. JetScream truly is one of the most cost effective performance products on the market today.

What if you do not have my application listed?
We are continually developing JetScream products to work with a growing number of engine/intake combinations. Please check the "Products" section of the website on a regular basis to see if we have added your application to the JetScream product lineup!

How long has JetScream been around?
JetScream products were introduced in Daytona Beach, FL at Biketoberfest in 2005. JetScream as a concept has been in R&D for almost 2 years now. Originally created by a drag racer in Phoenix, AZ, JetScream technology was developed with the help of an ex-General Motors engineer. In 2006 the technology was awarded patented status by the USPTO. We have signed an exclusive long-term licensing agreement to be the sole manufacturer and distributor of products containing the JetScream technology.
